水空 Mizuzora 

 

A tranquil lake or pond. It represents the quiet surface of the water and an inverted reflection of the world. This set of work is made with holding an image of invisible air overflowing from the edge of round forms.

 

The bowl forms are made on the wheel, cutting and shaping after bone-dry in order to add to the movement.
